Zillow Accuracy for Brevard County, FL - an updated figure for November
How accurate is Zillow in your area? Many people look to Zillow when they're curious about what their home may be worth. However, most of them don't know that Zillow reports how accurate those numbers really are.
I live in Brevard County, FL and regularly speak with people who tell me that they look on Zillow to see what their property is worth. Depending on who they are and the nature of the conversation, I sometimes tell them what our local Zillow accuracy percentage is. They're usually pretty shocked when I tell them how accurate Zillow says it is regarding prices in Brevard County, FL.
As of today, Zillow says it's accuracy for Brevard County is +/- 21.2%. That's a big range, isn't it? At least we're not living in Putnam County where the Zillow accuracy percentage is +/- 39%! Your home may be worth $100,000 or $60,000 or $140,000 - it's hard for Zillow to say for sure. The good news is that some counties, such as Sumter County, as accurate within +/- 7.6%.
